I have flown this plane 10 times so far. It is controllable and has a good stability of straightforward. I don’t build stunt models and all my scale models are for F2B. I guess this plane may be the best plane of all. The choice of the bigger engine and the usage of Blue Max wing went well. I have used DQ Master wing for three planes in a row. My previous planes’ weights are all over 2000g. This plane is not an exception, more than that it is the second heaviest plane. So, it might be hard to fly in windy conditions. I am surprised the engine consumes much fuel than I expected.
A major problem happened today. When I gave the choke to start the engine, the smoke rose from the engine room. A FIRE broke out!! It burnt the wall of the engine room. Fortunately it didn’t turn to be a big fire. If it had ignited the fuel tank, it could have absolutely become a serious accident. The fire naturally went out. At that time my master teacher was there and treated the matter appropriately. He is always reliable. He found out the cause. According to his hypothesis the choke fuel splashed on the hot engine and it burnt on it and spread to the wall. I quite agree with his opinion because the choke pipe got out of the original position. This is 100% because of my poor work! My master teacher gave me some advice of the way how to fix. Now the plane is waiting for repair work being hung from the ceiling.
